2012 - Enrolled at the Architectural Association School in London, culminating with Honors.
2015 - Relocated to New York to assume a position at SHoP Architects.
2016 - Pursued advanced studies at Columbia GSAPP, achieving a Masters of Architecture with a scholarship.
2020 - Contributed to projects at Marvel Architects.
2021 - Joined Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects.
2021 - Awarded the 'Future of Work' Fellowship, during which he began designing his first light collection.
2022 - Presented the 'Optical Monuments' collection at Design Miami, collaboratively designing the winning booth with Tuleste Factory.
2023 - Featured selected light sculptures at Elle Decor’s model penthouse in 53 West 53.
2023 - Unveiled the 'Totems' floor lamp and 'Megaliths' hanging lights during the NYC x Design opening after party at Tuleste Factory.
2023 - Exhibited selected light sculptures at the LIVEWEAR x Awet storefront on Bond Street.
2023 - Introduced the 'Alloy Kingdom' collection, showcasing the 'Sprouts' Table lamps at Salon Art+Design in NYC.
2023 - Launched the 'Spores' wall lamps and showcased the 'Megaliths' hanging lights at Design Miami.
2023 - Showed the 'Sprouts' table lamps at an event in collaboration with W hotels Miami
2023 - Won the LIT Lighting Design Award in the floor and table lamp category for the Totem floor lamp.
2024 - Showed selected pieces from 'Alloy Kingdom' collection at Maison Celeste in Mexico City during Zona Maco.
About Yonathan Moore:
A Brooklyn based, third generation French, Israeli architect, designer and maker of handmade collectible lighting and furniture.
Yonathan Moore graduated with Honors from the Architectural Association School in London (2012) and later earned a Master of Architecture from Columbia GSAPP (2016) on a scholarship. He began his career at SHoP Architects in New York (2015) and contributed to projects at Marvel Architects (2020) before joining Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects (2021).
In 2021, Moore was awarded the 'Future of Work' Fellowship, during which he designed his first light collection 'Optical Monuments'. He launched the collection at Design Miami (2022), where he designed the winning booth with Tuleste Factory.
His light sculptures were featured in Elle Decor’s model penthouse at 53 West 53, NYC (2023) and the LIVEWEAR x Awet storefront on Bond Street, NYC (2023). Moore’s work earned him the LIT Lighting Design Award for the 'Totems' floor lamp in the floor and table lamp category (2023). Most recently, he showcased pieces from the 'Alloy Kingdom' collection at Maison Celeste in Mexico City during Zona Maco (2024).
